I Will Miss You All!!!!!!!!

Wow! What an amzing couple of days! It all started hitting me on Friday that Dan and I are actually moving. I am very excited to be in a new area and serve the Lord, but I will miss you all dearly. Many of you I am leaving I have known for six, maybe seven years and that's a long time. Of course, I will be back to visit since my family does live here, but it may not be for a while just so we can get settled and such. I have gotten to know many of you very well here and we have shared many memories. I almost tear up writing this. For those of you who were there at Chris's house you know it was hard on me to leave. Thankyou Chris and to all of you who showed up. Dan and I had a great time with everyone. God bless you all! If you want us to keep in contact with you through email please send me your email address b/c I don't have hardly any. The next time I write we will be in sunny North Carolina.

P.S. I will not miss the Cincinati roads-they bite the big one.

Carolina on my mind

Well, Dan and I leave from North Carolina tomorrow morning b/c we have after a much tiring process found where we are going to live down here. It is a definite upgrade from where we are currently living in Cincinnati right now. We found a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment about 7 minutes from the church that Dan will be working at, which is great. It is newly renovated with bay windows, a wood-burning fireplace, a washer/dryer included along with a dishwasher, and lots of storage space. We looked at some townhomes, but they either weren't quite what we were looking for as far as appearance or they were far too expensive. We are very excited and we are looking forward to visitors coming down to visit us (ah-hem: that's a plug people for you to come and visit). Our last day in the 'Nati will be July 9 to get our apt. carpet cleaned and then we are out.

We are moving!!!

Yep, you read it right. Dan and I flew down to Raleigh, North Carolina last weekend and met with a church. Needless to say things went extremely well and today the head pastor called us and made us an offer for Dan to be the youth minister for Capital City Christian Church. I have much more to say in detail, but I'm too excited and I am running out of time in the library so I must go, but call me if you want and I shall tell all. We hope to move sometime in the second week in July. I will miss you all, but hopefully I'll be talking with a lot of you soon. Love you guys!

So, it's been a while since I've blogged. I have been trying to get all of my decorations ready for my summer class at Little Red. I am not excited about my hours for the summer, but I am excited that I get to have my own classroom and get to decorate it how I see fit. I am decorating with a playful monkey theme. It's very cute! I will be decorating my classroom next Sunday. Dan has had some free time on his hands since he has graduated. He has continued to get calls from churches for a job position. We are very optimistic. Tonight we are eating pizza and zipping out to Bible study.

I love this movie!

Dan is finally done with school. Yeah for graduation! I convinced his family to make lots of noise with the corn horns that I purchased from Wal-Mart that sound like those old cazoos I use to play with. Lots of family fun. The weekend flew by with his family down, but it was good times all around. The best part...I discovered I have a love for P.F. Chang's. Yep, I never thought that would happen, but hey, I was amazingly surprised. Hip-Hip Hooray!

The March of Dimes Walk went extremely well last Sunday. I was able to raise $200.00 thanks to my great sponsors. The weather was great and it was a lot of fun. I hope to do it again next year.

On a different note, the New Hamphire opportunity didn't work out, but Dan and I are alright with that. There is a greater opportunity out there for us just yet and we are still optimistic. That's all for now.

On April 29, 2007 I will be participating in a 3 mile walk for the March of Dimes. This walk helps the families that have premature babies. Well, Dan and I are leaving this coming weekend for New Hampshire. Please pray for us. Actually, Dan is leaving Wednesday and I leave on Friday. We are both flying for obvious reasons.

Tonight was our date night for this week. It was fun. We ate at Chipotle (for free burito tax season), and we watched "The Usual Suspects." I had never seen it before, but Dan loves the movie. It was pretty cool.

FYI...does anyone remember the sprinkles rant I went on and on about some posts ago. Well, I finally got my big tub of sprinkles from Sprinkle King for my birthday. Thankyou, you know who you are.

Today is my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hooray for April 10, 1982 b/c that's when I popped out of my momma's belly! They thought I was going to be a boy, but what a surprise I turned out to be being a 10 lb. baby girl with red hair. Ha! Today I turned the big 25. Yep, I'm a quarter of a century old...hard to believe. It' s been a pretty good day. Dan surprised me at work on my lunch hour, with a pink birthday cake. Awhhhh....and we went to the park and ate a picnic lunch and cake. Then when I got home I had another surprise waiting for me as I had to follow a trail full of quarters into my living room. He made it quarters b/c I am "25." Get it! And there around a circle full of quarters awaited my gift. It was a silky, pinkish-purple robe from Victoria's Secret from my sweetie, Daniel and some pink bunny peeps to go alongside it-those are my favorite Easter candy! Then I was off to get my spa pedicure done, which was very nice and now here I am.

I would have liked to have gotten together with some people, but my weekends have been absolutely crazy, and I know weekdays aren't great for most people, but if you feel like hanging out with me anytime soon let me know b/c Dan is busy working on papers.

On a different side note, I can't wait to see American Idol tonight! Luv ya guys!
